# Self-host Stable Diffusion WebUI with Docker

This page describes the Levelrail template for Stable Diffusion WebUI (AI). It deploys the services below as one Docker Compose app on your own server. Project site: [https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui/wiki](https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui/wiki).

Recommended memory: about 8192 MiB.

<Warning>This template reserves an NVIDIA GPU, so it needs a node with a GPU and the NVIDIA container runtime.</Warning>

## Services, ports and volumes

## Environment variables

| Service | Variable | Value |

| `sd-webui` | `WEB_ENABLE_AUTH` | Preset in the template |
| `sd-webui` | `WEB_PASSWORD` | Generated at deploy |
| `sd-webui` | `WEB_USER` | Preset in the template |

Passwords and keys marked as generated are created for you when the app is deployed and stored as secrets. Values are not shown here.

## Deploy Stable Diffusion WebUI with Levelrail

In the dashboard, open **Apps**, choose **New app**, then **Browse templates**, and select Stable Diffusion WebUI. Review the Compose body and deploy.

With the CLI:

```bash theme={"dark"}
levelrail-cli templates deploy stable-diffusion-webui --name my-stable-diffusion-webui
```
