A simple, fast, Pusher-protocol-compatible WebSockets server for real-time app features.

This page describes the Levelrail template for Soketi (Developer Tools). It deploys the services below as one Docker Compose app on your own server. Project site: [https://docs.soketi.app](https://docs.soketi.app).

Recommended memory: about 256 MiB.

## Services, ports and volumes

| Service | Image | Container ports | Volumes |
| - | - | - | - |
| `soketi` | `quay.io/soketi/soketi:1.6-16-debian` | 6001 | none |

## Environment variables

| Service | Variable | Value |
| - | - | - |
| `soketi` | `SOKETI_DEFAULT_APP_ID` | Generated at deploy |
| `soketi` | `SOKETI_DEFAULT_APP_KEY` | Generated at deploy |
| `soketi` | `SOKETI_DEFAULT_APP_SECRET` | Generated at deploy |
| `soketi` | `SOKETI_PUSHER_SCHEME` | Preset in the template |

Passwords and keys marked as generated are created for you when the app is deployed and stored as secrets. Values are not shown here.

## Deploy Soketi with Levelrail

In the dashboard, open **Apps**, choose **New app**, then **Browse templates**, and select Soketi. Review the Compose body and deploy.

With the CLI:

```bash theme={"dark"}
levelrail-cli templates deploy soketi --name my-soketi
```

See the [service template catalog](/templates-and-registry) for how templates work, and [Getting started](/getting-started) if you have not installed Levelrail yet.
