# Self-host Snipe-IT with Docker

IT asset management for tracking hardware, licenses, and accessories, and who currently has what.

This page describes the Levelrail template for Snipe-IT (Infrastructure). It deploys the services below as one Docker Compose app on your own server. Project site: [https://snipe-it.readme.io/docs/docker](https://snipe-it.readme.io/docs/docker).

Recommended memory: about 512 MiB.

## Services, ports and volumes

Passwords and keys marked as generated are created for you when the app is deployed and stored as secrets. Values are not shown here.

## Deploy Snipe-IT with Levelrail

In the dashboard, open **Apps**, choose **New app**, then **Browse templates**, and select Snipe-IT. Review the Compose body and deploy.

With the CLI:

```bash theme={"dark"}
levelrail-cli templates deploy snipe-it --name my-snipe-it
```
